An Inspector Calls
Whatever business you’re in, a visit from any kind of inspector is often met with trepidation or, dare we say it, a little bit of fear. You lie awake the night before going over every conceivable detail in your mind – will everything work? Will they like the décor? Will they like US?
We recently had a visit from the Inspector for Visit England, who came to check if our Gold accreditation, which we first received in 2016 (in fact we were the very first glamping unit in Somerset to receive it) was still deserved. We’re delighted to say that she felt it was, and gave Len and Ted an overall rating of 93-94% – not bad, if we do say so ourselves!
Amongst the areas receiving a 100% approval rating were the things which we think are most important to our guests: the beds and bedding, the bathrooms, the kitchens, the lighting and heating and, of course, the housekeeping and cleanliness.
The inspector had some lovely things to say about us, including, “Stunning views over towards Glastonbury Tor and very peaceful”; “The huts are in pristine condition”; and, “designed to provide luxury to the guests.”
We’re really pleased with the inspection, which validates our hard work to give you, our lovely guests, an unforgettable glamping experience. If you’d like to try it for yourself, visit our bookings page!
